Speechmaking is one of the most important things a politician should learn to perfect when he or she is hoping to be elected into an office. Not only are the hopeful’s plans important, but they are presented plays an equal role on the path to success. In a recent big speech this week, Republican party nominee Donald Trump presented his immigration plan in Phoenix after meeting with Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto in Mexico.
According to Donald Trump’s Gamble on Immigration speech last week, Trump cemented his plan to build a wall along the border of the United States and Mexico and spoke of deporting over 11 million immigrants. He said there will be no path to amnesty, but they will be able to reenter the United States the legal way, following an application process. Of course, all this is contingent upon him being elected in November.
His loud shouts and fiery tone were able to pump up a large crowd, with audience members chanting “build the wall”. However crazy Trump’s ideas may be, the way he presents them has been his key to gaining voters. Trump may not be a typical politician, but he has definitely learned from them when giving speeches and presenting his presidential plans so that he can win the election this November.
